How the custom seal development process works
Tool design and documentation
We design the production tooling (dies) and prepare full technical documentation for the profile. ⏱ approx. 3 days
Computer simulation
We run computer simulations of material flow through the die and optimise the tool geometry. ⏱ approx. 2 days
Model correction
We apply corrections to the CAD model based on simulation results and refine the tool geometry in detail. ⏱ approx. 1 day
Tool cutting / 3D printing
Production of physical tooling by CNC cutting or metal 3D printing. ⏱ 14 days
Tool testing
Testing the tooling on the production line and optimising extrusion parameters. ⏱ 2 days
Final tooling
Preparation of the final production tool after all corrections. Finished product delivered to the client. ⏱ 5 days
